Accessibility Statement

Net Zero Home Scheme, trading as The Electric Car Scheme Limited wants everyone to be able to use the Net Zero Home Scheme website, whatever their access needs. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Last updated: 29 July 2026

What we do

  • Use semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields so screen readers can navigate the site.
  • Keep text and interface colours at readable contrast levels against our brand palette.
  • Support keyboard-only navigation with visible focus states.
  • Respect the reduced-motion setting, so animated energy-flow graphics stop for people who prefer less movement.
  • Design pages to reflow on small screens and at up to 200% zoom.

Known limitations

Some illustrative graphics and third-party content, such as our demo booking tool, are not fully under our control and may not meet the same standard. We review the site periodically and fix issues we find.
