Is this salary sacrifice?
No. The Net Zero Home Scheme sits entirely outside payroll. Employees buy directly from the installer at member pricing, so there is no deduction, no P11D and nothing for payroll or finance to process.
What is the liability if an installation goes wrong?
None sits with the employer. The contract is between the employee and the accredited installer, who carries the workmanship warranty, insurance-backed guarantee and consumer-code obligations. We manage the escalation on the employee's behalf if anything goes wrong.
Do renters qualify?
Yes, for parts of the scheme. Plug-in solar and the member energy tariff need no permanent alteration to the property, so renters can take them up immediately. Solar, heat pumps and battery storage need the property owner's consent.
What data does the employer get?
Anonymised, aggregate reporting only: take-up numbers, installs completed and estimated carbon saved. Individual quotes, addresses and personal data are never shared with the employer.
What does it cost the business?
Nothing. There is no licence fee, no funding requirement and no minimum headcount. One short agreement gives your whole workforce access.
How long does launch take?
Typically a week. You sign the agreement, we send the comms pack with launch email, intranet copy and FAQ, and your people can request a live online quote the same day.
